  1. Take half a gram of your favorite cannabis and chop it as finely as possible. You can use a grinder – we use one of these – or use a hard object to crush it.
  2. Pour three cups of water or whole milk into a small saucepan. If you choose milk, it is important that it is whole.
  3. Wait until the liquid boils. It is important to be patient and follow our instructions in the correct order; otherwise, you may alter the product and lose the desired effects of cannabis.
  4. Add two tablespoons of butter. Regardless of the brand, it is important that it is regular butter used for spreading on bread. If you chose whole milk, you do not need to add butter: go directly to the next step.
  5. Add half a gram of ground cannabis from step 1 as its intense earthy aroma is perfect for making infusions.
  6. It is very important to stir the contents regularly to prevent the cannabis from clumping on the edge of the pan. It needs to cook slowly in the center. The main interest of the cannabis infusion is to consume as much THC from the plant as possible. Since THC alone is not soluble in water, the addition of fat must dissolve when exposed to very high temperatures. Therefore, if butter – or whole milk – is added to the boiling water, then the THC is absorbed into the final infusion, without undesirable green clumps floating on the surface.
  7. Cook the mixture over high heat for at least 30 minutes. The longer you wait, the more THC you will extract. We recommend setting a timer for 30 to 40 minutes to maintain optimal extraction. It is important to keep an eye on the liquid: at high heat, evaporation is quick, and it may evaporate a bit. Stir the mixture at intervals of several minutes. If necessary, add a little water/milk if you feel it is evaporating too quickly.
  8. After 30 minutes of simmering, strain the water/milk through a sieve and pour it into a cup or a container large enough to hold all the liquid. The THC is now completely concentrated in the butter in the water or the fat from the milk. The cannabis obtained from straining will no longer be useful: you can discard it.
  9. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to cool down a bit.
  10. The infusion can be drunk as is if you like the taste, or you can add a bag with your favorite tea. You can also add sugar or ice cubes. AND THERE YOU GO! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TASTE YOUR CANNABIS INFUSION. =)

IMPORTANT NOTE: As with most products consumed by ingestion, the effect will only be fully noticeable 45 to 60 minutes laterIf this is your first cannabis infusion, we recommend waiting at least two hours before smoking herbs or drinking alcohol.

We also recommend not exceeding the indicated dose: with only half a gram, this recipe is much more potent than you might think. Some people will feel the effects of the tea only 12 hours after drinking.
